Brasilien: Est. Roraima bei der Stadt Boa Vista. ( Wahrscheinlich aus dem Rio Branco )

Etymologie:

Weitere Angaben:
Diese Art sieht Corydoras atropersonatus sehr ähnlich, allerdings zeigt C. atropersonatus niemals einen ersten schwarzen Dorsalstrahl wie es für C. kanei typisch ist.
