Etymologie:
hastatus (lat. = mit einem Speer bewaffnet), eine Anspielung auf die spitzen Pectoralstacheln

Größe:
bis 3 cm

Empfohlene Temperatur im Aquarium:
24 bis 27 °C

Corydoras australe

Weitere Angaben:
Diese Art schwimmt gerne im Schwarm durch die mittleren Wasserschichten und kommt in der Natur mit einer gleich gefärbten Salmlerart vor.
